3 Tips For Planning Your First Party Bus Evening With Your Friends

If you and your friends have a special event that you want to book an evening party bus for a night out on the town, here are four tips that will help you successfully plan a fun party bus evening on the town.

#1 Book The Party Bus In Advance

Booking a party bus is not the same thing as booking a cab or an Uber. It is more like booking a limo. Party buses generally get booked up in advance, so you need to make a reservation ahead of time if you want to ensure that you'll have a party bus when you need it. Party buses tend to get booked up faster when the weather is nice outside, so during the spring and summer months you'll want to book further in advance than you may need to do in the middle of the winter. Don't count on booking a party bus on Saturday on a Friday afternoon; call at least a few weeks in advance to ensure that you get the bus you need for your event.

#2 Try To Get An Accurate Headcount

The second thing you need to do is try to get an accurate headcount. Set up an event and send out formal invitations that include an RSVP. Make sure that everyone understands that they are going to have to pay a per-person price for the party bus, unless you are footing the entire bill for the event yourself. Make sure that you set the deadline to RSVP for the event a few days before you have to get the formal headcount to the party bus company.

However, you should be prepared for some late cancellations. It is always a good idea to prepare for about five less people than RSVP to your event if you are splitting up the cost per-person; that way you will not be short changed the day of the event.

#3 Collect Money In Advance

If you are splitting the cost with your friends, you are going to want to make sure that you collect the money in advance. You can have your friends pay through a pay-sharing application like Venmo or you can use PayPal. You are going to want to collect the money before the day of the event; you don't want to be short on cash to pay the bill when on the day that your party bus is booked.

You also need to be prepared to put down a deposit for the transportation service as well, so you may need some friends to pay for the event before you even book the party bus.
